At Firstlight, our art classes are made for kids and adults who absolutely love making art. We have 3 PROGRAMS:

1. SCHOOL YEAR CLASSES, Our Primary Program: We have art classes in a 9-month school-calendar program that continues each year, and builds on previous art curriculum. All of the art lessons are based on Dennas' 30 years of experience as a professional artist, illustrator, cartoonist and painter. While the teaching is strong on artistic techniques and concepts, there is nothing more important in our curriculum than individual encouragement and development of each artist's own unique style. Please read our Statement of Purpose below.

2. ART PARK! This is our brand new morning Art Activity Center that is for preschoolers and grade schoolers with a parent.

3. This SUMMER we have our regular CAMPS, and a new program, the SUMMER ART BUFFET. Click the banners for more Summer art information.

Our goal is to bring continuing art instruction and mentoring to children and adults in the areas of visual art, and to help them realize the full potential of the giftings that God has blessed them with. We want to encourage, to nurture, to provide answers, to challenge, and to inspire artists of all ages.
