A comprehensive course in Adobe Illustrator by Dennas Davis.
1 & 1/2 hours once a week.
Overview:
Learn this complex program from one of the "Illustrator masters" (There's a book by that name with Dennas as one of the featured "masters", and he has been a beta tester with Adobe for several Illustrator releases) You will start with the most basic concepts of the program in the fall, and continue through the year with more and more in-depth lessons until the entire program has been explored. Tools, tricks, hidden features, and how-to tutorials will open your skills up to a huge array of possibilities. We will also learn computer color models, composition, and a few other key artistic concepts that lead to better computer work.
- 10-student limit in classroom with professional instructor.
- Students participate in the Art Show in May.
- Several projects during the year that progress in complexity.
- Windows and Macintosh computers are welcome. (the instructor is well versed in all things Mac, but for computer problems outside of the program, the windows OS is less known.)
