Follow Monet with Dennas Davis in France - Summer 2013

A once-in-a-lifetime tour of France from an artist’s perspective. You will tour Paris, Monet’s house and Gardens in Giverny, and cruise for a week on the Saone River in the Burgundy region; renowned for it’s wine and cheeses.

Artist and instructor, Dennas Davis, will be your guide and your teacher, as you sketch, paint, and walk along the same paths as Monet. In the L’Orangerie in Paris, you will see the magnificent water lilly paintings in the 2 oval galleries which were created just for them and refurbished just a few years ago.

ARRIVAL : Mid-Morning (approximately), Charles de Gaulle International Airport. Group met by chartered ground transportation. Upon arrival, enjoy a short RIDING GUIDED TOUR OF PARIS, including “Champs Elysees”, “Arc de Triomphe”, etc.
CHECK-IN : Paris Hotel (TBA).

FRIDAY, JUNE 22, 2012

MORNING : Enjoy a “Day Trip” to scenic GIVERNY!
LUNCHEON : Included.
AFTERNOON : Visit MONET’S HOME & GARDEN! Almost 10 years were necessary to restore the garden and the house to their former magnificence. Many of Monet’s contemporaries have testified to this. After our visit, we return to our hotel in Paris.
